The Tuesday Hub at Day's

This hub needs you! As an organic venture, it needs your ideas, involvement, and talent to develop and thrive. We want to include the new and the old movers and shakers, and its about the things that inspire and thrill, whatever they are.

Each week will offer a different activity or event...

Performance- experimental entertainment through music, storytelling, readings, improv and other trickery

The Album Circle- we'll take a great album (or tune) and chat, play, and riff around it, with discussion and DJ.

The Lit Lab- we'll choose a loose theme and see where our literary alchemy ends up via readings, musings, references, and selections from books in store.

Creation Station- activities and workshops on collage, book making, writing, journaling and more.

Out of the Comfort Zone- we'll attempt to break out of our cultural bubbles with challenging sounds and texts to ponder, discuss, and hopefully enjoy...

Playing at Leisure- nights of mellow game-playing and music- expect ambient sounds to accompany convivial conversation and games like Scrabble, dominoes, cards, chess, backgammon,, and whatever else turns up (no darts or pool as yet...)

Some sort of refreshment will be available each week, and we'll ask for a donation on the door. It's a drop-in hub, so see what takes your fancy...
